Our August general meeting is our annual summer BBQ!

We will be gathering at the Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park - Eagle Beach Group Picnic Shelter on August 13th at 5:30pm until 7pm.

We will be providing BBQ Burgers and Hot Dogs, and would love if you can bring a side dish or desert. We’re encouraging everyone to make something for approximately 6 people, that way there will be lots of cross-over, without too much excess.

Directions to VMUG BBQ

The VMUG BBQ is taking place at the Eagle Beach Picnic Shelter near the Victoria City Rowing Club (Map Link) The entrance is:

Northbound: Immediately opposite the Piedmont Off/On Ramp. Stay in the left lane after you pass the main entrance to Elk Lake Park. The left filter lane is approx. 600 yards after Haliburton.

Southbound: Pass Sayward Hill and continue past the lake on your right. As the road bears right, the turn-off is approximately 150 yards on your right, be prepared to slow.

Once you enter the turn off, go to the car park at the very end of the road:
